形式宾语什么时候用

当这个宾语是比较长的一个结构，尤其是像动词不定式（to do）、分词（doing），现在分词短语或者是宾语从句的时候。还有宾语补足语时（在大多数是名词或者是形容词），当宾语补足语，在这种情况下呢，我们就要用形式宾语。

• He thought it his duty to bring up the orphan. ^{他觉得有责任把这个孤儿抚养成人。}

All these years, Eric had lived as a recluse.
