Helen and Jim went to visit Carol and Tom for lunch, but they thought that no one was at home because it was very quiet. Helen did not believe that because she was sure that everyone was at home. Jim looked through the window, but he could see nothing at all. They decided to try the back door, and there they found that everyone was in the garden. Carol and Tom invited them to have lunch outside because it was nice and warm. When Jim asked for some beer, Carol joked that there was none left, but Tom told Jim not to believe her and offered him some beer.
