want + to do ^{想要去做（还没做）}

• I want to buy a new car.^{主+谓+宾( to buy a new car)}
• I want to work, I don't want to be on welfare. ^{我想工作，我不想依靠救济。}
  
• We want to build a better life. ^{我们想创造更美好的生活。}

当一动词前面加"to"，这时已不再是谓语动词^{(非谓语动词)}，专业的名称为“动词不定式”。

• I'm afraid that it's not finished yet. ^{此事恐怕还没有完。}
• I was afraid that nobody would believe me. ^{我担心没有人会相信我的话。}

否定疑问句^{（表强调）}：难道你就不能等到今天下午吗？

• Why can't you leave me alone? ^{你为什么不能别管我的事情？}
• Why can't you ever see my point of view? ^{你怎么老不明白我的观点呢？}
• Little bear, can't you sleep? ^{小熊，你睡不着吗？}

否定疑问句构成

否定疑问句的意思是 疑问+否定 构成的，即：一般疑问句的疑问词+not 的缩略式

• Are you ok? → Aren’t you ok?
• Do you know that? → Don’t you know that?
• Can you wait? → Can’t you wait?

何时用？^{(翻译：“难道，难道不…”)}

• A. Aren’t you lucky！^表达强调
• B. Don’t you love me? ^表达情绪

组织步骤

① 变：一般疑问句+ not 缩略式

• Is she beautiful? ⇒ Isn’t she beautiful? ^{难道她不漂亮吗？}
• Does she have a boyfriend? ⇒ Doesn’t she have a boyfriend? ^{难道她没有男朋友吗？}
• Did you have a date yesterday? ⇒ Didn’t you have a date yesterday?^{难道你昨天没去约会？}
• Can you be tender? ⇒ Can’t you be tender? ^{难道你就不能温柔一点吗？}

② 直接说^{（先看词性，再看人称）}

• Don’t you understand? ^{难道你不懂吗？(一般现在时)}
• Didn’t she cook? ^{难道她没做饭？(一般过去时)}
• Isn’t he cool? ^{难道他不帅？(一般现在时)}
• Wasn’t he late? ^{难道他没迟到？(一般过去时)}
• Didn’t you sleep? ^{难道你没睡着 ？(一般过去时)}
• Aren’t you lucky! ^{你们真幸运啊！(一般现在时)}
