• There is a television in the room. ^{房间里有一个电视。}
• There is an apple on TV. ^{电视里正在播放一个苹果。（On the TV 是在电视上，On TV 是电视里正在播放的内容）}
• There is a sound coming from the radio. ^{收音机传出声音。（a sound 具体的一声响，不可数名词被赋予了“具体化”的特征）}

the ^{这个，那个，这些，那些} §

• The TV is near the window. ^{这个电视在窗户旁边。}
• the distance and the time between us ^{我们之间的距离和时间}
• When the flash froze everything before. ^{闪光灯将曾经的一切定格。}

介词：媒婆，连接两个词或词与句子。注：介词后 + 宾语（介宾）；你要介绍的【主体】，我介绍xxx给你认识一下。

句子中使用介词时，别忘记动词！（有动词才是句子，无动词的叫短语）

【练习】尝试描述自己家里的布置

• My computer is on the desk. ^{我的电脑在书桌上。}
• There is also a cup on the desk. ^{有一个杯子也在书桌上。}
• I'm sitting at my desk, studying English on the computer. ^{我正坐在书桌前，用电脑学习英语。}

注意：后置定语是与中文语言使用习惯相反的一种方式，也是英语学习者比较容易困惑的地方。只需要记住“后置定语，倒着翻译”。

• The boy in blue is my son. ⇒ 那个男孩儿\穿着蓝色衣服的\是我的儿子 ⇒ 那个穿蓝色衣服的男孩是我的儿子。
• The shoe on the floor is mine. ⇒ 这只鞋\在地板上的\是我的 ⇒ 地上的那双鞋是我的。
• The man wearing a hat is my friend. ^{戴着帽子的那个男人是我的朋友。}
• The person who is hitting me is my father. ^{后置定语是为了未来学习定语从句打基础的。必须深层理解~}
