形容词与动词的演变

其实 Fill 本质上就是从 Full 演变出来的。在语言学中，这叫“元音推移”，英语有时候很“懒”，直接让 Empty 兼职做动词；但有时候又很“勤快”，专门造了 Fill 来配合 Full。

扩展词汇

英语的一种“职能分工”了。虽然在古英语时期，有些词是可以混用的，但现代英语为了表达精准进行了一些科学的演变，如下：

read ^{v.读、看(看书、看报看杂志)}
