in fashion = fashionable 流行中 out of fashion 不流行(过时)
It became fashionable to eat certain kinds of fish. 吃某些种类的鱼变得时髦了。 Tight jeans were in fashion last year. 去年流行紧身牛仔裤

Would 将会(will 的过去式,用于转述)、会...(用于提出意见或征求建议时)

  • He would never harm anyone. 他永远不会伤害任何人。
would like to + v. 想要做… would like + sth. 想要…
  • I would like to buy a new pair of shoes.
  • Would you like to go to my birthday party? 你可以来参加我的晚会?
  • Yes,I'd love/like. 嗯,我非常愿意、乐意
  • I would like a new pair of shoes.
  • Would you like some tea or coffee? 您是要点茶还是咖啡
  • I'd like tea please.
want to + v. 想要做⋯ want + n. 想要…

用want通常是直接表述,没有would客气

I’m afraid this green dress is too small for me as well. (as well 也)

  • …this green dress is…for me too.
  • …this green dress is also too small for me.
too as well also either
I like apples,too. I like apples as well. I also like apples. I don't like apples,either.

I don’t like the color either. (either 否定句末)

  • He doesn’t like coffee either. 也不喜欢咖啡。

I think the blue dress is prettier.

Could you + v….? (委婉的请求)

  • Could you lend me some money?
  • Could you give me a hand?
