- Warn him: "Warn him not to slip on the ice." (警告他不要在冰上滑倒。)
- Remind him: "Remind him not to trip over the wires." (提醒他不要被电线绊倒。)
- Advice: "Advise him against falling." (建议他别摔了 —— 虽然这种说法比较少见，但在正式文书里很有用。)
