wash v. 洗，洗涤
  • I must get up and wash. 洗漱
  • wash oneself 洗澡
  • Sally can almost wash herself now.
v. 冲走，卷走
  • Occasionally, unusual creatures are washed to the shore.
  • The little wooden house was washed away by the floods. (wash away 冲走；洗掉；忘却)
wash up v. 洗餐具 When you phoned, she was busy washing up (the dishes).
v. 把…冲上岸 The dead body of a huge fish has been washed up on the shore.
