Susan asked Peter to come in and have some tea, but Peter insisted that he must water the dry garden first. Although Susan felt it was a nuisance, Peter explained that he had to water it every day just like last summer. Susan decided to have tea by herself. However, Peter finished very quickly because it suddenly started to rain outside. Since the rain meant that he did not need to water the garden anymore, Peter was pleasantly surprised and joined Susan for some tea instead.
